Now comes your first tense - present simple.
The verbs are divided into two big groups A (ending on a soft ω, by far the bigger group) and B (stressed or strong -ώ). Additionally there are irregular verbs which you simply need to learn. The medusa of irregular verbs is τρώω (eat). The wise people of Duolingo introduce it early so that you don't lose your s... mind when you get to it later. To form the tense you need the verbs stem and the appropriate suffix. The B2 group is a very very small number of verbs, so small that I have the full list: μπαίνω, βγαίνω, αργώ, ζώ, μπορώ, οδηγώ, συγχωρώ, τηλεφωνώ, χρησιμοποιώ and προσπαθώ.
